WORLD PHARMACIST DAY CELEBRATION

The NET pharmacy college has organised the World pharmacist day celebration on 25th September 2022 .The programme was held in AV room library. The programme was presided by principal of NET pharmacy college, Dr. H. Doddaya. Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar, Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur was the chief guest of the Programme.Dr. Anand A. S, Vice principal, Navodaya Medical College, Raichur was the guest of Honour. and Dr.Prakashitha Goud, Lecturer ,NET pharmacy college was the resource person of the programme.
The programme started with the invocation song followed by the welcome speech of Dr. Shivkumar, Professor and Head, Dept of Pharmacy Practice,NET pharmacy college. Next the function was inaugurated by all the diganitaries on the dias by lighting the lamp.Mr. Manjunath C. J ,Assistant Professor of Pharmacology department introduced the chief guest and guest of honour of the programme. Later chief guest and guest of honour addressed the gathering highlighting key points on the role of pharmacist in medical field. Dr.H .Doddaya gave his presidential remarks.Prizes for the winners and the runnerups for the different competitions which was held as a part of pharmacists day celebrations were also given at the same time by the dignitaries on the dias. A video presentation which clubs all the activities of college was also presented during the programme.Finally Mr. Binu K M Assistant Professor, Dept of pharmacy practice of pharmacy college delivered the vote of thanks.
The next session was the special lecture given by the resource person of the programme Dr.Prakshitha Goud. she focused mainly on the topic of pharmacist united in action for a healthier world.
All students from different batches of pharmacy and all the teaching staffs of NET pharmacy college has attended the programme . Ms. Praise merin ,pharm. D intern anchored the programme.
