N.E.T Pharmacy College celebrated NSS day on 24th September 2024 with Flag hoisting in the morning session (8:00 am) with Volunteers. The Programme started with performing Pooja by the dignitaries and Ms Joshna was the anchor later NSS flag hoisting was done by Principal Dr H Doddayya with Dr B Koushik Reddy ,Principal Navodaya College of Physiotherapy, Mr Binu K M Ex- NSS officer,Mr Narsimhachar Joshi NSS officer, Mr Rohith Bhandari Asst NSS officer, followed by NSS song was sung by Ms Pragathi & Shradha of Pharm D 1st year and the programme concluded with National Anthem. Refreshment was arranged to everyone.
Later a formal function was conducted in AV Hall Central Library. The programme commenced by welcoming the dignitaries on the dias followed by an invocation song. Welcome speech by Mrs Deepali Patil & Presentation of Bouquet to dignitaries by staff followed by Lamp lighting by Dignitaries with newly joined NSS volunteers. Introduction of Chief Guest & Guest of Honour by Mrs. Ayesha Sultana. Prof.Hetzy Suthana Kumari mam addressed the program where she appreciated the enthusiasm and activities that Pharmacy College has been conducting. Dr.H.Doddayya delivered concluding remarks by encouraging the newly joined volunteers & he addressed the activities & programs which took place earlier & also regarding the challenges that they face while conducting the programs. NSS pledge by Mr Narasimhachar Joshi. Mr Binu KM addressed the NSS activities that took place in the year of 2023-2024 with a detailed report Dr. T Shivaraj Gouda addressed a certificate of appreciation to former NSS programme officers with felicitation to former NSS officers.Dr Praise Marine Sabu announced the volunteer names & certificates were distributed to the Volunteers for their commendable participation & work. The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Rohith Bhandari later a video presentation of NSS programme & activities that were conducted in previous years followed by National Anthem & High tea was provided to everyone.
