NSS Unit of NET Pharmacy College on 24-9-2019 organized NSS Day Celebrations in Dr.C.M.Gurumurthy Hall, NMCH&RC,Raichur. Dr.H.Doddayya Presided over the Function. Dr.Mallikarjun, Principal NIT, Raichur the Chief Guest, Dr.Sunil Kumar, Associate Professor,Dept of Psychiatry, NMCH&RC the Resource person and Mr.Binu K M NSS Program officer and  Convener of the function were on the dais. The program started with invocation song by Miss Dhanya and group. Dr.Shivaraj Gouda welcomed the dignitaries, invitees and the audience. The customary lamp lighting was done by the dignitaries. The chief guest, while addressing the audience gave a call for the students to render selfless service voluntarily for building healthy & strong nation. He also shared his experiences and best teacher award with audience. He stressed the significance of NSS Unit in the college for bringing the unity among the student community & the positive thinking in the welfare of the nation. Dr.H.Doddayya in his presidential remarks described how the NSS team is serving the community & bringing the awareness among the people about their health, hygiene in rural and urban areas. Mr.Binu K M presented the report of NSS activities carried out in the previous year and proposed the future plans of activities. On this occasion the certificates were distributed to NSS Volunteers by the guests on the dais. Resourse Person Dr.Sunil Kumar gave a lecture on various types and causes of stress and how to manage stress. The session was interactive, very useful and informative for all the audience. Mr.Pawan Mootha gave vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Miss Praise and Mr.Prem Kattimani. The function ended with National Anthem followed by High tea.
