Students of N.E.T. Pharmacy college, Raichur have visited Pharmaceutical Industry M/s. Shilpa Medicare Ltd. Located at Chicksugur industrial Area (Unit-II) as a part of their academic curriculum. Forty-five students of B. Pharm & Pharm.D. along under the guidance and supervision of three faculty members Dr.R.H. Udupi Prof & HOD, Dept of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Dr. T Shiva raj Gouda Prof & HOD Dept. of Pharmacology & Dr. Pradnya Patil Asst. Prof. Dept. of Pharmaceutics. Deputy General Manager Mr. Veereshappa lead the team for explaining different units like Water Purification unit, Manufacturing of Intermediates, Quality control, Research & Development etc. AII Students with keen interest are observed all the unit operations during visit. The advantage of industrial visit is the students will gain knowledge of practical applications of several operations and their concepts in theory.
