Navodaya Education Trust’s Pharmacy College, Raichur Conducted course Induction Program for the 1st Year Students of D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm & Pharm D courses on 02-08-2018 at Dr.S.R. Hegde Silver Jubilee auditorium. Sri S.R. Reddy, Honourable Chairman of Navodaya Education Trust was the chief guest of the function. Dr.B.Vijaychandra, Principal, Navodaya Medical College & Dr.P.Vijay Kunar, Director, IP & SA were present on the dais as guests of honour. Dr. H Doddayya, Principal, NET Pharmacy College presided over the function. Goddess Saraswathi Pooja was performed on the auspicious occasion. The program was customarily inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais.
Dr.T.Shivaraj Gouda, Professor & HOD, Pharmacology welcomed the gathering Mr. Manjunath C J, assistant professor, introduced the guests to the audience. Sri S R Reddy speaking on the occasion welcomed the freshers to the Navodaya Campus & briefed facilities available in the campus for making their stay comfortable & meaningful. He assured the parents that he will provide excellent care & coaching in building their future career. Dr. B.Vijaychandra in his remarks pointed out that NET has one of the best library in Asia & asked the students to make best use of it in reaching their goal. Dr. P Vijay Kumar assured the students that personal care will be taken so that students should feel homely atmosphere during their stay in the campus. Dr. H Doddayya in his presidential remarks highlighted that the College has very dedicated teachers & has has wonderful facilities. He quoted the names of students who have secured university ranks in the previous examination conducted by University. He expressed that the institution & management is proud of Miss Bhavana Thapa of B. Pharm & Joslin Mariya Thomas of Pharm D for achieving the Gold medal on the occasion of convocation in University. Mrs Nimmy John, Assistant professor administered Pharmacist Oath for all freshers. Dr. Chandramouli, Professor presented vote of thanks.
As a part of course Induction Program the details of subjects to be studied, examination pattern, scope of course, etc were discussed by Dr. Sarfaraz Md, Professor, Dr. Shivakumar, Professor & Head, Dept of Pharmacy Practice & Dr. Pradnya Patil, Professor respectively for B Pharm & M Pharm, Pharm D & D Pharm courses. Dr. Shrishail Patil, Assistant Professor briefed on the occasion the rules & regulations that are strictly followed in the institution & also measures taken for prevention & irradiation of ragging and the functioning of anti-ragging committees down the clock in the campus. The program started with an invocation song by Miss Annura, Miss Dhanya & Miss Anjali. Interns Miss Athira & anchored the Program
