N.E.T Pharmacy College conducts scientific workshop
N. E. T Pharmacy College in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore conducted a Faculty Development Programme on “Empowering Teachers as Educators” for Teaching staff of RGUHS affiliated colleges of Hyderabad-Karnataka Region. This programme was arranged on 14-07-2018 at. Dr.C.M.Gurumurthy Hall of Navodaya Medical College & Research Centre, Raichur as a part of silver Jubilee celebrations of Navodaya Education Trust & N.E.T Pharmacy College, Raichur.
Dr. H Doddayya, Principal, N. E. T Pharmacy College Presided over the Function. Dr. T Srinivas, Registrar was the chief guest. Dr. Munir Ahmed R, Director, College Development Council, RGUHS was resource person and Mr Ramesh Babu Gattu, Assistant Professor & HOD, Dept. Of Pharmacognosy, the Convener of the scientific workshop was also present on the dias.
Dr. Munir Ahmed R delivered series of lectures on theories of learning, educational taxonomy, teaching / learning methods, academic planning & principles of evaluation. Dr. T Srinivas, Registrar speaking on the occasion emphasised that the Education system which is proceeding in the development direction, the teachers play vital role. Therefore it becomes indispensable for the teaching faculty to upgrade their knowledge to meet the present standards of the education and hence arranging such workshops becomes integral part of education system. He congratulated the principal & staff for arranging this event. Dr. H Doddayya in his presidential remarks explained the audience, the need, importance & uses of arranging such programs in order to bring essential changes and meet the required standards in the education field.
Mr. Ramesh Babu Gattu gave the brief introduction of the chief guest and resource person wherein he mentioned their achievements and various contributions made to the education field. On this occasion Pharma focus a News Bulletin, 4th volume, 1st issue was released by the dignitaries on the dias.
The function started with an invocation song by Ms. Tejaswini, Navodaya College of Nursing. The program was formally declared open by the dignitaries by lamp lighting. Dr. T Shivaraj Gouda, professor & HOD, Dept. of Pharmacology, NET Pharmacy College welcomed the gathering. Dr. Chandramouli, Professor, Dept of Pharma Chemistry presented vote of thanks. Mrs Nimmy John, Assistant Professor, Dept of Pharmacy practice & Ms Shravanthi, Lecturer, Dept of Pharma Chemistry anchored the program.
Mr. Ramesh Babu Gattu the convener gave the concluding remarks wherein he highlighted the arrangements, working of different committees, planning the program, etc which are mainly responsible in making this event as a remarkable & Grand Success
