REPORT ON FREE HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP

NSS wing of NET Pharmacy College Raichur in association with Department of Community medicine Navodaya Medical College Raichur have arranged a free health check-up camp in Navodaya Urban Health Centre Located in Ashapur road Raichur on 09-04-2018. The inauguration of this 5 days free health check-up camp and NSS special camp took place at 9.30am, Dr. R.H. Udupi Professor HOD Of Pharmaceutical chemistry NETPC Raichur Presided over the function. The chief guests of function Dr. B. Vijaychandra Principal NMC Raichur, Dr. Bheemaya Badesab Prof HOD of Community medicine and Dr. Brigediar Ashok Mahendrakar Medical Superintend NMH Raichur, were present on the dias.

Dr. Brigediar Ashok Mahendrakar addressing the gathering consisting of patients, distinguished invities, staff and students from Dental, Medical and Pharmacy colleges draw the attention that health is very important for everyone therefore the health care people should try to bring the awareness among people in the community about the health of the individual and the ways to achieve it, perhaps this may serve the purpose of health for everyone.

Miss Priyanka Lecturer Department of Pharmacology welcomed the gathering and Miss Athira arvind anchored the programme. After the formal function the health check-up programme started, where several doctors of NMC checked the health of patients, registered and diagnosed their cases. The dental health and care was also arranged during the health check-up camp.

Mr. Binu KM Asst Professor and NSS Coordinate officer supervised and guided the event.
