NSS unit of N.E.T Pharmacy College, observed World Yoga day Celebration on 21st June 2024 in AV room of Central library. President of function Mr Binu K M, NSS Programme Officer, Associate Professor, N.E.T Pharmacy College, Raichur, Mrs. Aparna Lakshmi, Assistant professor Dept.of Pharmacology, Speaker of the Event Ms. Kontham Jyothi, Lecturer, Dept. of pharmacy Practice Convenor Ms Suma , Lecturer, Dept Of 

Pharmaceutical Chemistry, N.E.T Pharmacy College, Raichur were on the dias. The programme was anchored by Ms. Joshna S Abi.

The Programme commenced with invocation song by Miss Shradha and team. Ms 

Kanchana Lecturer, Dept. of pharmaceutical chemistry NET pharmacy college, welcome the chief guest and other staff 

members and students .The bouquet was presented to all the dignitaries on the dias. 

The Customary lamp lighting was done by the dignitaries.

During the event, Mrs. Aparna Lakshmi highlighted the significance of Yoga, focusing specifically on its benefits for female students. Ms. K Jyothi conducted a seminar on using Yoga as a tool for empowering women, while Mr. Binu KM honored and felicitated the speaker with other esteemed guests. The program also featured a demonstration of various Yoga Asanas by D. Pharm students.

Female students Pharm D and D pharm as well as female NSS volunteers actively took part in the event, which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of Yoga. Dr. Nagadeepthi,  lecturer Department of Pharmacy practice N.E.T Pharmacy College, delivered a vote of thanks as the program came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a high tea session.
