TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION – 5TH SEPTEMBER 2022
The NSS unit of NET pharmacy college has organized the celebration of teachers day on 5th September 2022 .The programme was held in AV room library. The programme was presided by principal of NET pharmacy college, Dr. H. Doddaya. Dr.Umakant .G. Devarmani ,Principal, Navodaya College of Education was the chief guest of the Programme. Dr.Ratan Chavan ,Professor,Navodaya College of Education was the guest of Honour.and Dr Chandramauli, Professor ,NET pharmacy college were also seated on the dias.
The programme started with the invocation song followed by the welcome speech of Mrs.Aparna Lakshmi ,Assistant Professor of Dept of Pharmacology ,NET pharmacy college. Next the function was inaugurated by all the diganitaries on the dias by lighting the lamp. Dr.Pradnaya Patil ,professor of pharmaceutics department introduced the chief guest and guest of honour of the programme. Later chief guest and guest of honor addressed the gathering highlighting key points on teachers day. Dr.H .Doddaya gave his presidential remarks. The quarterly newletter of pharmacy college ,pharmafocus volume 8 issue 2 was released by the dignitaries and editorial members of pharmafocus. Finally Mrs. Ayesha sultana lecturer of pharmacy college delivered the vote of thanks.
The next session was the special lecture given by the chiefguest of the programme Dr.Umakant .g. Devarmani. He focused mainly on the topic of professional ethics in teaching. and he showed the importance of teachers in developing the career of students .the programme was ended with national anthem followed by hightea.
About 120 students from different batches of pharmacy and all the teaching staffs of NET pharmacy college has attended the programme . Ms. Praise merin, pharm. D intern hosted the programme.
