The NSS unit of NET pharmacy College, Raichur organized NSS Foundation Day Celebrations on 24th September 2020 at Lecture Hall, in the college premises.
The program began with the quote “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”
Dr. H. Doddayya, NSS Chairman, Principal presided over the function and shared his views & highlighted the significance of NSS Volunteers in rendering their selfless services to the society. Dr. R H Udupi, Professor, Head Dept of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in his words expressed the dedication & determination put on by NSS Volunteers in serving mankind that helps in building strong nation.
A short video of various activities carried by the NSS unit was displayed. Ms. Anura and group recited the NSS Theme Song followed by NSS Pledge repeated by NSS Volunteers. NSS Day Celebrations were further followed by distribution & planting of saplings at college campus. Mr Binu K M, NSS Programme Officer, Mr. Pavan V Mootha , Assistant NSS Programme Officer, along with HOD’s and other the teaching faculty with NSS Volunteers attend the program by maintaining social distance due to pandemic
